Yes, I am a
Miss Rumphius wannabe (hey, I already have the hair bun going on sometimes too).

Since someone asked me what colours my lupins were I feel perfectly justified in posting all these lupins pictures. ;-) This way if you got some lupins from me you will know some of the colours they may be.
ooohhhh, I'd love to have some of those in my garden. They are so beautiful! We just read Miss Rumphius for the first time and Zara now wants a pocket full of lupin seeds to spread wherever she goes!

Tell Z that I'll save her some seeds for next year.
ReplyDeleteI took some lupin seeds from my nanna's house when we were cleaning it out after she died, and now I grow them every year. They are one of the most attractive plants around, aren't they? Mine are just plain purply-blue though - I'll have to look for some colours. Those are lovely, Heather.
ReplyDeleteI like how their heads follow the sun!

Beautiful flowers :)
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! I have a volunteer lupin growing in the middle of my sage, it hasn't bloomed. I want to transplant it to the front yard. Do you think that I'll kill it if I transplant it right now?
