We had a good vantage point from halfway up a mountain that overlooks the city.
It's been years since the Snowbirds last put on an air display here.
The traffic was terrible but it was worth the drive.
Even the lake was crowded with boats whose occupants were watching the show too.
The weather was perfect.
And afterwards we went to the beach and spent the whole afternoon and most of the evening there with our friends.

Yes, I love L's photos. It really impressed me to see how many people walked, biked or drove in to see the show. Quite cool really that in the middle of the work day so many took the time to stop and take part in that. We felt like we were in a parade walking down Abbott to get to City park because there were so many other people walking.
