Things that are making me happy...

Raspberries still ripening Roses still blooming

Leaves turning. Walnuts ready for gatheringPlenty of squash to put aside for winterHand-knitted wool, thrift store sweaters for $1.50Fair-trade chocolate for me, brought home by my husband (four bars of 'em)
Doesn't take much to make me happy, does it!

Looks like you've already eaten all the chocolate! Simple pleasures, eh!

I am very happy today, it is my birthday soon and every year the supermarket I shop in (Sainsburys) send a coupon for a free box of chocolates for the occasion, I have just picked mine up, although I have been very good and not opened them yet. I love this time of year for the colours but I am not looking forward to the shorter days, as not much time for getting out in the garden, only at weekends, might have to console myself with the chocolates!

Even without having the chocolate "high" that you must have by now...(man! he brings you home FOUR?!!!? bars of yummy chocolate???)... I too, can find happiness in the simple, everyday treats, like the ones you shared in your photos (and we know you don't share your chocolate unless its in a picture... hee hee ;o)
Life really is good!

You know ladies, it isn't like I actually eat all four at once, those will last me for weeks. No..seriously! I've only had about 4 squares of one so far and I've had them since Monday. Why doesn't any one ever believe me on that.
