Have you seen this DVD (it stars Alan Rickman)? No, I thought not...because it does not appear to be available in Canada yet (but it stars Alan Rickman). Now why is it that a movie filmed in Canada (and starring Alan Rickman) is available in the UK, (where Alan Rickman lives) but not here? That hardly seems fair, does it? Why should Brits (who already have a chance to possibly see Alan Rickman in person) get to see this movie while we, here in Canada( who love Alan Rickman) do not? I don't know either, but if you do know anywhere in Canada that rents/sells this movie, please, please tell me. I'm about to try to convince my friends ( who are lukewarm in their Alan admiration) to accompany me to a film festival where they are showing this (sure to please Alan Rickman fans) movie. Since in the past, I have had to tolerate relentless some teasing about the, ahem, quality of some of the (Alan Rickman) movies I have chosen for Alan Rickman movie night, I am a little wary of dragging them off to a film festival to see what is said to be a somewhat poorly directed (but obviously stupendously acted) movie. If you have any info. about it or would just like to leave some lovely comments about Alan Rickman anything, please do so.

Ah, such devotion, Heather! I can't (and I really mean I CAN'T) fathom the depths of despair you're experiencing over not seeing this Alan movie. It's so nice you have a hobby though. I hear hobbies are very healthy and I'm all for being healthy ;o) Just don't get to thinking I'm signing up for your I LOVE ALAN RICKMAN CLUB...
Well, since some lovely friend of mine made me a shirt and everything I feel like I have to have a fan club. ;-)
So you're saying I've contributed to your obsession with all things Alan Rickman????? Haha. As if.
Heather, if you see it at the movie theatre, you wont be able to pause the good parts (Alan close-ups) and fast forward the boring parts (any part without Alan)
But Alan will be larger than life, so she'll get her money's worth!
Yes....that is what I am saying Katherine...that's my story and I'm, sticking to it. ;-)
Samantha, you were adding to my whole dilemma - do I go to the film fest and not have the choice to rewind, play over, pause or do I wait til the DVD comes out (so that I can do that) but then that takes a chance as what if it doesn't come to Cananda. Dilemma, dilemma!
But I see that calmer minds have prevailed, thanks Nicola. I will go see it larger than life and...I will keep trying to get ahold of the DVD for someone rewind time.
