Heriot Bay Inn, Quadra Island, BC

This is where we were staying last week - the Heriot Bay Inn. A lodge with restaurant and pub and cabins. My in-laws had a room in the lodge, the five of us took a two bedroom cabin. Very cosy.


This was the view from our cabin in the trees. Of the four days we were there, two were grey and rainy, two were sunny. Considering the time of year, I think we were lucky to have that much sun!


The week involved a heck of a lot of driving, sitting in the van or on a boat, which with three generations of the family travelling together could have been a challenge, but it worked out OK. Three of us did unfortunately get a stomach bug, which put a bit of a damper on things.
