Our homeschool support group met as usual on Wednesday afternoon. The temperature was below freezing but we were all wrapped up warm and enjoyed a walk through the woods and alongside the creek.
Being the rebels that we are, we ignored the Danger signs (which incidentally have been there for a VERY long time) and carried on along the trail, only to find that the creek had eroded part of the path. However we were able to walk along the edge of the frozen creek until we could rejoin the trail.
As you can see, much of the creek is frozen over, and of course some of the children and a dog couldn't resist walking on the ice. Thankfully no one ended up with a wet leg!
