A rose garden

I love the roses in my yard. I've been told that the woman who used to live and garden here would get rose bushes as gifts from her children, she had a lot of children. So now I have a lot of rose bushes. Here are just a few pictures. Every year I try to decide which is my favourite and I don't know why I do that - it's impossible to choose because they are all so beautiful.See? Too lovely to choose just one favourite. Now, want to see the dark side of gardening? Have a look at these beasties.

I love roses and couldn't choose a favourite either! I would love to have a yard full of the beauties you have, Heather. It must smell heavenly with all those gorgeous beauties blooming.

Beautiful Heather! If only our computers would enable us to smell them as well :-)
I think I'll definitely have to put in some roses. Where is my edger? ;-)

WOW! Absolutely stunning! And what a gift from the previous gardener. I love that it's YOU who's inherited the loving gifts of her children... Somewhere, somehow I think her heart is glad every time you feel grateful for the bounty she left behind...
