Here is the rare Patronus, lurking in the exotic greenery of its native habitat...Currently, there is only one of this endangered species, but maybe...just maybe...there will soon be a mate to join it...
Below, one sees it languishing on a branch, looking harmless, but in reality it is waiting to pounce...
It successfully ambushed its prey and has consumed a meal - the foot of a nearby homo sapiens. It fits perfectly. A second Patronus sock is on the needles; the first inch of ribbing is done.

Hi Katherine...it's nice to get to "know" you. Thanks for leaving such a nice comment on my blog. It's always good to hear from someone new. You are a lucky girl to live in such a beautiful country! I haven't had time yet to read much of yours but so far it looks to me that you are a "doing" kind of girl and that's my kind of person. I only knit a little so anything you have knitted is clever in my books.

What Nicola did you morph into David Attenborough when writing that post? I guess you've the accent for it. ;-) Sock looks lovely.

The sock is brilliant, oh Queen of Knitting! Samantha is right, cables are very impressive. High on the knitting "wow" factor.
